Who Would Like an Oncology Job? Author: Lisa

We had just gotten my mother out of the hospital, where she had spent the last four days, because her potassium was so low, her heart was having a hard time pumping blood to her body. He was a very nice man who answered all my questions from the very beginning, and filled me on the history of what was really going on, not the half story my mom told me to keep me from worrying. He explained that she had anal cancer and that they had to give her six rounds of radical chemotherapy. He went on to say that she was doing fine and that they were gonna wait three weeks, let her gain her strength back and then do radiation. Surgery was out of the question as she had a previous bout with cervical cancer, and the surgery to remove that tumor had caused too much scar tissue. He explained everything so well. By the time we moved into our new home and got settled, she was done with her radiation and we could relax, and enjoy the summer. She came to stay with us for a month, soaking up the sun and playing with her granddaughter. But you could see the effects the treatment had on her body. Dr Raghaven told us that she would be swollen in certain areas, lose her hair, be cold all the time, and she was. Finally she went back to work. October came, the big day to tell if she was cured, and we all knew she was, when he told her that the cancer had spred to her lymph nodes. We were devasted. But she said she would lick it. So she did her chemo, as a out-patient this time, and everything was going good. She felt great, her hair was growing back, and then after New Year I got a call, the EMT’s had been called and she refused to go with them. Told my aunt she was gonna punch her in the nose. She was disoriented. I called Dr. Raghaven and he told me it sounded like her kidney’s had shut down. We got her to the hospital and that morning Dr. Raghaven told me there was nothing else we could do, even if they did dialysis, the tumor was too big. He stayed with us until we moved her to Hospice, he held my hand. Terrified, I asked him if my daughter and I needed to be tested for this cancer, and he told me no, it came from the Human Papillomavirus,(HPV). He sent flowers to her funeral. From the moment she became his patient to the day she left this world, he remained by her side giving her the support, and relief she needed, and that makes him one special Oncologist.

Cancer Effects Emotionally and Physically Author: Remy Vixamar

I am sorry, you have cancer is a devastating news no one wants to hear from a physician in these days. Not only the disease is life threatening, but also the side effects of the treatment make the bravest man stumbles. For most people, cancer is like a death sentence, which is not true at all. In fact, being depressed increase the effects of developing cancer and your risk of dying from it. Cancer effects can be emotional and physiological. In this article, although it is impossible to detail all effects of cancer in your life, I talk about its main emotional effectsr, and the way to cope with them.

Fear if you are a cancer survivor, whenever you have pain or feel not good, the first idea that tends to come up to your mind is the cancer has come back. In fact, around 80% of the times the pain has nothing to do with cancer. If you look back to your past, you may realize that you used to have those similar experiences years before the genesis of the first cancer cell in your body.

Anger – wanting to overcome is in human nature. When you feel unable to fight against cancer, it may happen that you become angry against the cancer itself, your health care providers; friends spouse and family, God, even against yourself. This behavior worsens when you are misunderstood or underestimated.

Loneliness as the majority of victims of cancer, you can be full with visits at the beginning. As time goes by, the number of visits decreases or stops completely, presence and simile disappear gradually. It may happen you do not receive visits or phone even from your lover; she/he is gone. You look around you, there is no one. You call, nobody answered. You feel that nobody loves or understands you, you feel alone; you are lonely.

Feeling of guilt when you are living with cancer, you may feel guilty all the times. Because, according to you, you are responsible for the disease because of your lifestyle and habits. In addition, you may feel guilty for having too upset your families; you think, emotionally and financially, you are a burden for them.

Sadness and Depression any person affected by cancer tend to feel sad after the diagnosis or during treatment; it is a normal reaction to stressful and overwhelming situations. However, you need to overcome the sadness, because if you do not, you will do more harm than good to your health. It is said, A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones (Proverbs 17:22).

Stress and Anxiety cancer, especially during treatment, is often accompanied by stress and anxiety. These emotional problems are often the result of changes in your life, or the effects of media (news about people die from cancer). If left untreated, stress and anxiety can lead to minor health problems rapid heartbeat, dry mouth and difficulty swallowing, sweating, headache, tremor, nausea or diarrhea; problems or trouble sleeping, feeling of oppression or tightness in the throat or chest, muscle pain, rapid breathing and low, and more.

If you are, however, a family or friend of a cancer victim … you should know that fighting cancer is a very difficult time to go through. Your comprehension and help are precious. If you are a spouse of a cancer victim, and you want to quit, do not accuse her/him falsely; you increase her/his pain. The changes you see are resulted from the cancer; do not use them as alibi. Remember, what happen to partner today may happen to you tomorrow, and what you have done to him will be done to you. This article was about emotional effects of cancer. To learn more about effects of each type of cancer and tips to reverse them, visit cancer effects

The Management & Treatment Of Prostate Cancer Author:

The Management & Treatment Of Prostate Cancer Author: Mark Feneley

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin malignancy in men and is responsible for more deaths than by any other cancer, except for by lung cancer.

What is Prostate Cancer?

Abnormal cell growths are called tumors. Prostate cancer typically is comprised of multiple, very small, primary tumors within the prostate. The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system that produces the majority of fluid that makes up the semen, the thick fluid that carries sperm. The walnut-sized gland is located beneath a man’s bladder and surrounds the upper part of the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder. The prostate is a common site for cancer to develop in men, particularly after the age of 50.

Possible signs of Prostate Disease

Prostate Cancer often has no symptoms until it becomes advanced, by which time the opportunity for cure can have been missed. It can be tested for by a blood test called PSA (prostate specific antigen), but owing to the tests variable accuracy, the result must be interpreted with great care, preferably by a qualified Prostate Specialist. Other symptoms of prostate disease that should be investigated by a Prostate Specialist include :

Trouble urinating and Weak or interrupted flow of urine.

Frequent urination (especially at night).

Pain or burning during urination.

Blood in the urine or semen.

A pain in the back, hips, or pelvis that doesn’t go away.

Painful ejaculation.

What are some of the treatment options for prostate cancer?

The treatment options for prostate cancer depend in part on whether the tumor has spread. For tumors that are still inside the prostate, radiation therapy (using x-rays that kill the cancer cells) or surgery called radical prostatectomy, performed in various reputable London Prostate cancer treatment centers and urology clinics in London, are common treatment options.

What is Prostate Drainage?

Prostate drainage is the common term for prostate detoxification. The prostate has an affinity for holding fatty deposits that accumulate from the consumption of fatty foods. The accumulation, over years and even decades of a fat-rich diet, leads to blockages of the acini in the prostate. These blockages can trap and hold bacteria in the prostate.

Prostate Cancer Prevention Strategies

The ultimate goal of prostate cancer prevention strategies is to prevent men from developing the prostate disease. London has many physicians who specialise in the management of prostate cancer. In spite of significant progress in research over the past 16 years, this goal has not yet been achieved. Studies do suggest however that dietary and pharmacological measures may reduce some of the risks associated with prostate cancer. Both genetic and environmentalrisk factors for prostate cancer have also been identified, but the evidence is not yet strong enough to be helpful to predict developing prostate cancer. Screening for prostate cancer initially involves a blood test for PSA, and depending on the result further tests may be required. Screening is probably of greatest benefit to men between 50 and 70 years of age, or from 40 years for men who are Afro-Caribean or have a family history. However, it is important to first understand the particular benefits and harm that may arise from testing and very early treatment of prostate cancer. Screening can be done through a Prostate Specialist London.

How to Get Cancer Life Insurance Author:

How to Get Cancer Life Insurance Author: Sam Decausta

Getting life insurance if you have cancer is undeniably challenging but it is not impossible. Your probability of getting coverage depends, to a large extent, on the type, grade, and stage of the disease. The treatment plan also plays a big role because it determines the curability of the cancer. For example, certain types of illnesses like skin cancer is considered as a very low-risk condition by most cancer life insurance companies. In fact, they consider it so inconsequential that skin cancer history might not even have an effect on premiums.

Meanwhile, patients with treatable types of prostate and breast cancer might still fall under the standard category. However, the best scenario for high-risk diseases such as colon cancer and leukemia is that it will fall into the high substandard category. Some patients will also be declined depending on the life insurance company. Individuals whose cancer has metastasized have a very slim chance of getting coverage.

Majority of cancer life insurance companies do not want to provide a policy for people still undergoing treatment. And depending on the type of condition involved, life insurers might also ask for a temporary flat or a surcharge to your plan. These premiums might be expensive but it will also disappear over time, usually between two to five years.

Should You Get a Cancer Life Insurance Broker?

A good life insurance agent can help you find a reputable insurance institution that can offer coverage. In many instances though, cancer patients should look into a broker whose specialty include finding cancer life insurance policies. These brokers are familiar with the various policy requirements of different companies.

Most of them will already know the specific concerns of underwriters and they can provide an immediate answer to that. In addition, cancer life insurance brokers who have been in the business for some time already have a good network. These relationships can benefit you in your search for a cancer life insurance policy.

The end result is, your application is given to the companies who will view your medical history most favourably. Youre able get the best price quotes and the lowest premiums. However, while this might sound like good news for many cancer survivors, it is also crucial to exercise precaution. Make sure that the broker you get has a license and then check the financial stability of the company before you buy the policy.

Tips to Get Cancer Life Insurance Coverage

It is important to get all appropriate medical files before you apply for the policy. Everything from the treatment record to the first pathology result should be compiled. This will help the underwriter get a complete picture of your health and cancer history. Likewise, it will significantly reduce delays in the process because the underwriter will ask for these records from you anyway.

It is also a good idea to get a checkup prior to your cancer life insurance application. If you havent been back for a year, then the insurer is not likely to give you a policy without seeing the state of your health at the time you apply.

Robotic Prostatectomy Author: John Smith

ROBOTIC

Robotic Prostatectomy Author: John Smith

ROBOTIC SURGERY :

In 1997,Dr. Menon was recruited to become chairman of urology at Henry Ford Hospital to revive the prostate cancer program,Menon and the staff at the VUI would develop robotic procedures in general,( for example bladder,Kidney cancer ) and the prostatectomy in particular,The robotic prostatectomy developed by Menon is called the Vattikuti Institute Prostatectomy. Specialized Laparascopic instruments are used for the procedures. During the operation

images from a 3-D camera are projected to a remote console.

The surgeons operates in virtual reality, observing the images on a screen.

This technology serves to make the surgery less invasive and more precise.

Dr. Menon has performed nearly 40,000 robotic prostatectomies, and is considered a world authority on the use robotic surgery for prostate cancer.

THE ROBOTIC PROSTATECTOMY :

About the VIP Procedure:—

This is currently our preffered procedure for removal of the prostate.A team of surgeons led by Mani Menon,M.D,performs the operation. We have performed over 4000 such operations over a 7-year period, the word’s largest experience. The unique procedure combine the oncological principles of open radical prostatectomy with the minimum invasiveness of laparascopic surgery,Established by Dr. Menon.

With the state of the art da Vinci system, the surgeon uses a three dimensional computer vision system to manipulate robotic arms. These robotic arms hold special surgical instruments that are inserted into the abdomen through tiny incisions. A laparascope- a long, thin, lighted telescope- is inserted through one incision and connected to the computer monitor that allows the surgeon to see inside the body.

The three-dimensional view helps the surgeon more easily find and preserve the delicate nerves and muscles that surround the prostate. The robotic arms can rotate a full of 360 degrees. This allows the surgeon to manipulate surgical instruments with greater precision and flexibility.

The prostate, nearby lymph nodes, seminal vesicles and adjacent tissues are removed through the small incisions, which are closed with few stiches. With the robotic technology, surgeons can manipulate instruments with greater precision and flexibility. Most patients go home within 24 hours and return to normal activity within 2 weeks after surgery. Patients walk the evening of surgery and begin a clear diet one day after surgery. Most patients have very little pain after the robotic procedure.

To qualify for this type of surgery, patients must be free of other significant health problems and be within a fairly normal weight range.

The Following side effects can occur any time a prostate is removed. In our experience, they are less with VIP than with open prostatectomy.

-Sexual Function.

-Urinary Continence

-Scarring

MORE ROBOTIC PROCEDURES:—

Smaller incisions ,less scarring ,and faster healing.

Dr. Menon and the surgeons at the Vattikuti Urology Institute are experienced innovators in the use of robotic surgery in improving patient care. We offer the following procedures.

Kidney:

-Robotic Partial Nephrectomy:–

Robotic surgery to remove kidney tumor while preserving the remaining kidney(also called renal-sparing surgery)

-Robotic Radical Nephrectomy:–

Robotic surgery to remove the entire kidney for large tumors or disease.

-Robotic Pyeloplasty :–

Repair of the blockage in the area where the ureter attaches to the kidney.

-Robotic Nephroureterectomy:–

Removal of the kidney and ureter for transitional cell carcinoma involving the kidney or ureter.

-Robotic Pyelolithotomy:

Removal of large kidney stones that fail treatment by other methods.

-Robotic Renal Cyst Decortication:–

Removal of kidney cysts that sometimes cause pain or high blood pressure.

BLADDER:

-Robotic Radical Cystectomy:

Robotic surgery to remove the bladder for large tumors or disease.

Colon Cancer Causes and Prevention Author: Remy

Colon Cancer Causes and Prevention Author: Remy Vixamar

If curing colon cancer is very difficult, it is quite contrary to prevent it. In fact, the majority of cancers of the rectum and colon could be prevented through regular checkup (examination or inspection), healthy lifestyle (eating healthy foods, regular colon cleansing, exercise, etc.), and chemoprevention.

Annual Check-upannual health checkups is recommended to help detect health problems in their early stages. Early medical visit is the best preventive method to save your life from bowel cancer. Bowel cancer tends to develop in the polyps. Most polyps are present no symptoms at early stage, they are usually discovered at the time of colon cancer screening (digital rectal exam, flexible sigmoidoscopy, Barium enema, colonoscopy or virtual colonoscopy). Being present microscopically, benign colon polyps tend to transform with time into colon cancer. These abnormalities can be detected and removed early during a colonoscopy (a visual examination of examination of the large colon and the distal part of the small bowel) to avoid complications. It is estimated that this procedure could be reduced by 80% the risk of occurrence of intestinal cancer when you begin these tests at around 45, then every 5 or 10 years.

Diet and Lifestyle – it is no doubt that your lifestyle can increase the risk of cancer. The incidence of colorectal cancer (colon cancer or large bowel cancer) is very frequent in places where people practice the following: physical inactivity, excess calories intake (especially of saturated fat, protein, and sugar), alcohol abuse, consumption of a diet rich in red meat, sausages and hot dogs. Conversely, physical activity and a eating a diet rich in fruit and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale, cabbage, watercress, bok choy, etc.) containing antioxidant micronutrients would reduce the risk of cancer or its reoccurrence. In fact, these foods can be used as preventive and curative methods; a diet composed mostly of fruits, cruciferous veggies and fish may reduce the risk or cure certain bowel cancers at their genesis.

Chemoprevention – this method consist of the use of natural or synthetic substances in order to prevent, reverse, or delay the development of cancer cells. Micronutrients such as iron, cobalt, chromium, copper, iodine, manganese, selenium, zinc and molybdenum, as well as other nutrients like calcium, folic acid (Vitamin B9), and certain medications such as aspirin may inhibit cancerogenesis, according to some studies in animals. Others studies show significant inhibition of spontaneous intestinal polyps in mice and rats.

Other substances used in chemoprevention include Cyclooxygenase-2-Selective Inhibitors (COX2), a form of Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that directly targets COX-2, an enzyme responsible for inflammation and peptic ulceration. When it comes to your health, prevention is always better than treatment, which does always lead to cure; make your first step today to prevent or eradicate colon cancer; visit cancerofolon.com, or click on the in the resource box below.

Link between Obesity and Breast Cancer Author:

Link between Obesity and Breast Cancer Author: Jen Page

The apparent likelihood of a connection between breast cancer and being overweight is an issue of growing concern. Statistical evidence has shown that women with excessive upper body and abdominal fat account for a large percentage of breast cancer patients. No conclusive results have been made on the subject but numerical evidence has shown quite significant data alluding to this possible correlation. The possible explanation for this possible relation is the fact that overweight individuals store xenestrogens in extra fatty cells. These xenestrogens are dangerous compounds that come about as a result of environmental pollution. Xenestrogens are known to promote cancerous tumors especially around the breast area. The more of it that is spread in fatty tissues, the more likely one is to develop a cancerous tumor. Development of breast cancer, therefore, is primarily said to be as a result of the effect and actions of certain hormones in the body.

Weight gain immediately before and after menopause, has shown likelihood of increasing the risk of breast cancer. During this period, the ovaries stop the production of estrogen, which is sourced from body fat in women. A woman who has excess body fat during this transitional menopause stage will have a large amount of estrogen in the postmenopausal stage, which may contribute to increased breast cancer risk. Surprisingly, other studies have shown that obesity in some cases can actually reduce the risk of breast cancer. These studies show that being overweight usually causes irregularities in menstrual cycles that may limit ovulation. With less ovulation, it means there will be lower levels of hormones such as progesterone and estradiol, which promote breast cancer.

Scientists are now studying the relationship between obesity and a debilitating form of breast cancer called inflammatory breast cancer. In this form of cancer, the lymph vessels are blocked by cancer cells causing skin around the breast to look swollen and inflamed. Larger samples of the women diagnosed with this form of breast cancer were overweight compared to a smaller number of leaner women affected. It is believed that increased fat tissue could be a major factor that causes the inflammation that characterizes this form of breast cancer. Fat cells are also known to produce hormones and chemicals that promote the existence of cancer.

A factor that leads to higher death rates for obese individuals with breast cancer is that detection is harder for overweight patients. Therefore, the cancer is more likely to be diagnosed at a much later stage than for one who is leaner. If the cancer is not detected early enough, then treatment may not be as effective. Evidence has also shown the prevalence of breast cancer in communities that tend to have a higher average weight. A continent such as Asia where average body mass is lower than other regions of the world has recorded much lower prevalence weights for breast cancer. Though occurrences of breast cancer are mostly considered to be genetic, more evidence is emerging concerning other possible causes of this disease.

Malignant Peritoneal Mesothelioma- Important Facts for You to Know Author:

March 28th, 2010 admin No comments

Malignant Peritoneal Mesothelioma- Important Facts for You to Know Author: Bello kamorudeen

Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma is rare form of cancer that affects the peritoneum, which is the lining of the abdomen. Every year, around 100-500 new cases are seen in the United States. It is also known as abdominal mesothelioma as the peritoneum protects and lines the abdominal cavity and the organs situated in the abdominal cavity. There are two layers of the peritoneal membrane called visceral and parietal layers. The visceral refers to the inner layer covering of the organs and the parietal refers to the outer layer covering of the abdominal cavity.

The peritoneal membrane cells attacked by mesothelioma normally secrete lubricating fluids into the peritoneum, this allows for frictionless smooth movements of the organs in the abdominal cavity. However when these cells are transformed into cancerous abnormal cells, they start to over secrete this fluid leading to a gradual fluid build up in the abdomen.

Abdominal Mesothelioma is usually secondary to a primary source of the malignancy, which is Pleural mesothelioma. It is believed that the asbestos fibers may be ingested when swallowed, where they enter digestive tract or that the fibers are inhaled into the lungs and transported via the lymphatic system to the abdominal cavity. Cancer cells from the primary source can also become mobile and spread via the lymphatic system to other areas, this process is called metastasis.

Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include:

- Abdominal pain,

- Swelling of the abdomen which may be caused by fluid retention (ascites)

- Tumor growth into the intestine causing small or large bowel obstruction

- Anemia-low blood level, which causes decreased oxygen levels in the blood, and makes the heart work harder, also causing shortness of breath

- Weight loss, but you may appear larger around the waist

- Fever.

If you have been exposed to asbestos in your lifetime and you are having any of these symptoms, you should see your doctor immediately.

Relatives of the mesothelioma victim are also at risk of developing the cancer. Spouses who handled dirty clothes to launder them are at risk to having asbestos transferred to them via physical contact with the fibers. Now that more is known about asbestos, workers must bathe and change clothes before going home. Special care is taken to limit exposure to the asbestos fibers.

Diagnosis of peritoneal mesothelioma is similar to that of pleural mesothelioma. An x-ray will be taken. Mesothelioma cannot be seen on an x-ray, but a tumor may cause pleural effusion (fluid buildup) which can be seen. The doctor may also order a CT scan or an MRI to back up and add to the findings in the x-ray. Once the scans are done, a biopsy must be done to examine to tissue. The doctor will make a cut through the chest wall; this procedure is called a thorascopy. This will be done in the hospital under local anesthesia.

The doctor may also perform a peritoneoscopy, which involves surgically inserting a scope into the abdomen to visualize the tumor cells and take tissue samples for biopsy. The procedure is similar for both thoracic and abdominal examinations. Samples of tissue obtained will be examined by the pathologist under the microscope.

Mesothelioma is quite rare, so if you are diagnosed with it, you should have your doctor help you find a specialist who is well versed and experienced in the treatment of the disease and there are not too many of such specialists. There is no cure for malignant mesothelioma, but there are treatment options that include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and others. The life expectancy of someone with malignant peritoneal mesothelioma varies from person to person. The prognosis depends on how vigorously the cancer is treated and how the patient responds. The patient may live for years, or only for a few months.

Ozone and Oxygen Therapy Through The Ages – Part One

March 28th, 2010 admin No comments

Ozone and Oxygen Therapy Through The Ages – Part One Author: Lynne Gordon

Civil wars and bloody tribal conflicts, economic instability, increasing exploitation of natural resources, mounting population and mounting pollution. There is an epidemic of AIDS and an epidemic of cancer. Tuberculosis is rising again, and new viral infections seem to pop up
weekly, as in the native population in the southwest in recent years, and the flesh eating
staphylococcus bacteria is spreading faster than the Black Plague.

The situation seems to grow worse daily and the modern doctor has tools of little power to
combat these rising health concerns. Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness, prescription
drugs kill at least 150,000 people a year in the US, and the chemical/drug companies lobby
harder than ever to eliminate the competition–vitamins and natural herbs and the naturopaths
that prescribe them. Health care in America costs an estimated two billion dollars each and
every day, yet the population grows sicker every minute.

Into this gloomy scenario has come a breath of fresh air–an old and proven treatment that
American doctors mostly abandoned, but European doctors nurtured and developed. That
treatment is medical ozone and oxygen therapy. Both (H2O2 and H2O3) were first used over one hundred years ago and found to be of great value.

In 1896, the electrical genius Nikola Tesla patented an ozone generator and in 1900 founded
the Tesla Ozone Co. Many doctors treated patients with Tesla’s ozone and got excellent
results. However, the corrosiveness of the gas to rubber equipment made ozone treatment
unpopular with American physicians, and most had dropped it by the thirties under pressure
from the AMA. Tesla developed another type of ozone generator in the twenties, based on a
cold plasma principle, but the materials for handling it still did not exist. Also in the twenties, Tesla developed magnesium dioxide and gave it to Dr. Blass, who used it with good results, marketing it as Homozone.

In Germany, during the First World War, a Dr. A. Wolff used ozone and oxygen on a variety of health problems, from gangrene to trench foot to chlorine gas burns to influenza, with great effect. His work and results were written up in German medical journals of the time.
But it was not until the fifties, through the efforts of Dr. Hansler in Germany, that ozone came into its own. With the aid of modern materials including resistant plastics, and with the
development of modern ozone generators, it became possible to safely handle and administer
medical ozone and oxygen.

Since that time, over ten million patients have been treated with ozone, with many millions of
doses given, by more than 7,000 doctors. It has proven to be the safest medical treatment of all time, with less than ten deaths in fifty years, and with less than 1500 people found to be allergic to ozone in all that time. But you still won’t find it in common use in America.

Medical ozone and oxygen has already proven effective against over 100 diseases, and the list grows daily. Since no anaerobic bacteria, virus, protozoa or fungus can live in a high oxygen atmosphere, all diseases caused by these agents are curable with ozone/oxygen. Patients with cancer, AIDS, tuberculosis, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, etc., are cured by therapeutic applications of ozone and oxygen almost without exception, and without serious side effects.

These are the facts regarding medical ozone and oxygen use in Europe. President Reagan received ozone treatment for cancer when he was in Germany in 1986. Members of the FDA have taken their wives to Germany for treatment of breast cancer.

NATO has adopted ozone for cleaning the blood supply, and the Canadian Armed Forces are about to do the same. Ozone, because of its powerful antiviral / antibacterial / antiprotozoal abilities is the treatment of choice for the water supply in over 3000 municipalities around the world, including almost all the major cities: Paris, Brussels, Moscow, Zurich, Amsterdam, Florence, Singapore, New York, Tampa, Dallas, Los Angeles, etc. It is also employed to treat sewage to such high standards that it is often returned to the input in true recycling.

It is becoming the top option for industry to clean its waste, and in the case of pulp mills, mandatory. H2O2 and H2O3 are replacing chlorine throughout the world, as the carcinogenic dangers of organochlorides are being realized. We are not far away from a worldwide ban on the production of chlorine, which will rid us of a dangerous environmental pollutant. There are over 100 cities using ozone in the U.S. today with many more planned.

But on the medical front, the FDA fights a cynical battle against doctors who are determined
that their patients shall not die of AIDS or cancer or ALS or MS or any of the multitude of
other diseases that ozone and oxygen can cure, but which no chemical drug touches.

But no matter how hard the FDA persecutes these healers, the tide is turning and the outcome is inevitable. Medical ozone and oxygen treatments will take their rightful place as the leading therapeutic remedies.
